Job Description

We are seeking a Contract School Psychologist who will provide essential psychological support and guidance to students across various educational settings. The successful candidate will assess and address mental health needs, develop intervention plans, and work collaboratively with educators and parents to enhance student well-being.

Responsibilities

• Assess students with special needs and develop comprehensive psychological profiles.
• Implement behavioural strategies tailored to individual students.
• Foster strong relationships with students to encourage open communication.
• Support school-wide initiatives related to mental health promotion.
• Coordinate with external mental health resources when necessary.
• Assist in crisis intervention and promote resilience strategies.
• Collaborate with administration to improve mental health policies within the school.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and supervision.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in School Psychology or equivalent

Experience

• Prior experience working as a School Psychologist in educational settings is highly desirable.
