Job Description

We are looking for Electric Motor and Power Tool Repairers to inspect, maintain, and repair various tools and equipment. Ideal candidates should possess strong technical skills and a keen eye for detail, ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections and testing of power tools to identify issues.
• Restore and repair tools, including replacement of damaged parts.
• Provide reports on the condition and needs of tools in the inventory.
• Foster a culture of safety and adherence to company policies.
• Engage in proactive maintenance to prevent future tool failures.
• Support other production-related tasks as necessary.
• Communicate findings and recommendations to the quality assurance manager.

Requirements

Education

• Certificate III in Engineering - Mechanical Trade or equivalent

Experience

• 2 years’ experience in a similar role with tools and machinery.

Technical Skills

• Technical knowledge and ability
• Safety regulations knowledge

Soft Skills

• Teamwork
• Organizational skills

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with inventory management systems: Familiarity with systems used to track and manage tool inventories.
• Hands-on experience in a production or manufacturing environment: Practical experience working in a production setting.
