R&D Chemist

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced R&D Chemist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for chemistry and research, able to work independently as well as collaboratively to develop new products and improve existing formulations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct experiments to create new chemical formulations.
• Perform thorough data analysis and compile findings in technical reports.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovation.
• Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
• Support the R&D team in the development of new research proposals.
• Evaluate market trends to identify opportunities for product development.
• Assist in the protection of intellectual property by documenting inventions.
• Communicate results and recommendations effectively to stakeholders.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or related field
• Master's or PhD in Chemistry preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in research and development, particularly in the chemicals sector

• Experimental Design

Certifications

• ISO 9001 Quality Management certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Familiarity with software tools such as MATLAB or Python.: Experience with programming languages relevant to data analysis is beneficial.
• Experience with Quality Assurance processes.: Understanding of quality standards and how to maintain them in a lab setting.
