Job Description

As a Deli Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality deli dishes. You will work closely with our team to create delicious meals and provide exceptional service to our customers. Your role will involve maintaining kitchen cleanliness and ensuring that food safety standards are upheld.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and present high-quality deli products while adhering to food safety guidelines.
  • Ensure timely preparation of food items.
  • Assist in menu planning and development.
  • Train new kitchen staff and provide guidance.
  • Maintain kitchen cleanliness and follow sanitation procedures.
  • Order and manage food supplies effectively.
  • Collaborate with team members to enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor food preparation processes to maintain quality and efficiency.
  • Assist with daily kitchen operations and support other staff as needed.

Requirements

Education
  • Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent
  • Food Safety Supervisor Certification
Experience
  • At least 2 years of experience working in a commercial kitchen, preferably in a deli or delicatessen.
