Job Description

ABC Engineering is seeking a skilled Pin Drafter to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will create precise technical drawings and designs that drive the manufacturing of specialized pins and needles, collaborating closely with production teams to ensure quality and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Produce detailed schematics for manufacturing processes using CAD software.
• Engage with engineering teams to develop design concepts and feasibility assessments.
• Update and manage project documentation and drawings.
• Collaborate with project managers to ensure timely delivery of projects.
• Conduct assessments on materials and processes to enhance production efficiency.
• Support tooling and production design with technical expertise and insights.
• Deliver presentations of designs to stakeholders and management teams.

Requirements

Education

• Technical drawing and drafting qualification
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering is an advantage

Experience

• Previous experience in a similar role is highly desirable

Technical Skills

• Microsoft Office Suite
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes

Soft Skills

• Analytical skills
• Team collaboration

Advantageous

• Certification in drafting or engineering: Any additional certification will be advantageous.
• Experience with project management tools: Familiarity with tools like MS Project or Trello.
