Job Description

We are seeking a passionate General Practitioner to provide high-quality medical care in Coffs Harbour. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing and treating a variety of health conditions, as well as promoting preventive care to enhance patient wellness.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patient health needs and manage their care pathways.
• Educate patients on health maintenance and wellness practices.
• Oversee and guide junior medical staff when required.
• Advise on community health issues and participate in local health initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.

Requirements

Education

• Medical degree from an accredited institution
• Current medical registration with AHPRA

Experience

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a General Practitioner

• Patient Assessment

Certifications

• Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Specialization in Family Medicine: Preference for candidates with a focus on family medicine.
• Advanced Life Support Certification: Certification in ACLS or equivalent is highly regarded.
