We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Health and Safety Specialist to join our Melbourne team. In this role, you will conduct inspections, ensure compliance with safety regulations, and develop training programs to enhance workplace safety. Your expertise will be vital in promoting a culture of health and safety across our organization.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the development of health and safety policies and procedures.
• Evaluate and improve health and safety performance metrics.
• Support the implementation of health and safety initiatives.
• Coordinate with external agencies for compliance audits.
• Engage employees in health and safety discussions to enhance awareness.
• Conduct site visits to evaluate workplace hazards.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Safety Management or related field
• Certifications in Occupational Health and Safety are preferred

Experience

• Experience in regulatory environments is advantageous
