Job Description

We are seeking dedicated Sawing Machine Setters, Operators, and Tenders to operate our advanced timber cutting machinery. The successful candidates will ensure accurate cuts and maintain the highest quality of timber production.

Responsibilities

  • Set up and calibrate saw machinery according to production needs.
  • Monitor machine performance and conduct troubleshooting as necessary.
  • Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations within the facility.
  • Participate in quality control processes to maintain product standards.
  • Keep logs of maintenance and repairs for all machinery.
  • Assist supervisors in workflow management and order fulfillment.
  • Engage in team meetings to improve overall production efficiency.

Requirements

Education
  • Trade qualification in Sawmilling or equivalent experience
  • Additional qualifications in machinery operation are an advantage
Experience
  • Experience operating sawmill equipment is preferred
