Drum Tender

Job Description

As a Drum Tender, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining machinery used in the production of steel containers. You will ensure quality control of finished products, assist with loading and unloading materials, and adhere to safety regulations while working in a collaborative manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular inspections of machines and safety equipment.
• Report any issues to the Production Manager promptly.
• Support training of new staff in machinery operation.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
• Participate in safety meetings and training sessions.
• Assist in inventory management of materials.

Requirements

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Trade certification in a manufacturing capacity is a plus.

Experience

• Experience operating heavy machinery in a manufacturing environment.
