We are seeking a skilled Benzene Worker to join our team in Sydney. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling and processing benzene and other hazardous chemicals while ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
Responsibilities
Conduct routine checks on chemical handling processes to ensure adherence to safety standards.
Assist in the preparation of hazardous materials for processing and transportation.
Participate in safety training to enhance knowledge of chemical handling procedures.
Collaborate with team members to maintain high safety standards and effective communication.
Document inventory of hazardous materials and report discrepancies.
Implement environmental policies to minimize chemical spills and waste.
Gather data for compliance audits and safety inspections.
Requirements
Education
High school diploma or equivalent
Certification in Occupational Health and Safety is a plus
