Surveying and Mapping Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Surveying and Mapping Technician to contribute to our innovative projects. This position involves generating precise technical drawings and collaborating with engineers and architects to ensure project specifications are met. Ideal candidates will have a keen eye for detail and a deep understanding of drafting software.

Responsibilities

• Design and produce detailed technical plans for urban and rural projects.
• Work closely with project teams to ensure specifications are accurately interpreted.
• Review and refine drawings based on stakeholder feedback.
• Conduct field surveys to ensure accuracy in drafting.
• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
• Assist in training new team members in drafting procedures.
• Keep abreast of changes in industry regulations affecting drafting.
• Prepare presentations and reports related to ongoing projects.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma in Drafting or Engineering
• Certification in CAD software preferred

Experience

• 2-3 years of experience in drafting or a related field

Languages
