Job Description

The Environmental Remediation Consultant will provide clients with expert advice and tailored solutions on a variety of environmental remediation projects. This role involves assessing and managing contaminated sites, designing effective remediation plans, and ensuring compliance with environmental regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct environmental risk assessments and develop appropriate mitigation strategies.
  • Design and implement remediation plans tailored to specific site conditions.
  • Ensure all remediation activities are compliant with government regulations.
  • Prepare and present environmental reports for clients and regulatory authorities.
  • Collaborate with engineers and scientists in remediation project development.
  • Provide training and support to junior staff regarding best practices in environmental remediation.
  • Identify potential business opportunities and assist in proposal writing.
  • Engage with community stakeholders to address concerns and promote transparency.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of remediation processes and suggest improvements.
  • Manage project timelines, resources, and budgets effectively.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or related field
  • Master's degree preferred
Experience
  • 3-5 years of experience in environmental consulting, specifically in remediation
