Assembler

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Assembler to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the assembly of a diverse range of products, ensuring that all work is completed to high-quality standards and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Follow detailed instructions for product assembly.
• Make use of hand tools and equipment efficiently.
• Evaluate the quality of finished products and report findings.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.
• Adhere to workplace safety and organization standards.
• Participate in team meetings and suggest improvements.
• Track completion of daily assembly tasks.
• Provide support to junior assemblers as needed.
• Assist in achieving team production goals.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Certificate in mechanical engineering or related field is advantageous

Experience

• Prior experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment is essential.

Technical Skills

• Mechanical assembly skills
• Electrical assembly knowledge
• Experience with pneumatic/hydraulic systems
• Lean manufacturing principles

Soft Skills

• Interpersonal skills
• Attention to safety protocols

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with hydraulic equipment: Hands-on experience with hydraulic systems is a plus.
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing techniques: Experience with methodologies that minimise waste and improve efficiency.
