As a Claims Adjuster, you will play a critical role in assessing and investigating claims to determine appropriate compensation levels. You will collaborate with clients, insurance companies, and legal teams to ensure fair resolutions.

Job Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and process claims related to compensation and disability benefits.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient claims processing.
  • Maintain knowledge of legal regulations and industry standards.
  • Assist in training new claims staff on procedures and protocols.
  • Resolve discrepancies and issues related to claims evaluations.
  • Work under pressure to meet deadlines and customer expectations.
  • Prepare reports and documentation for claims analysis.
  • Participate in team meetings to discuss ongoing claims and challenges.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Implement improvements to the claims process as needed.
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or related field
  • Relevant certification such as Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU)
  • Claims Management Software Proficient with claims management systems such as Guidewire.
  • Microsoft Office Suite Extensive experience with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint for reporting.
  • Analytical Skills Strong ability to assess information and make sound decisions.
  • Interpersonal Skills Excellent communication and negotiation capabilities.
  • CPCU Certification
  • AIC or ARM certification preferred
  • English (Fluent)
Advantageous
  • Knowledge of industry regulations and compliance: Staying updated with the latest changes in laws and regulations.
  • Master's degree in finance or related field: Preferred educational background to enhance analytical skills.
