We are looking for a skilled and dedicated Pond Tender to join our team. As a Pond Tender, you will be responsible for maintaining and nurturing our ponds, ensuring their cleanliness and health. You will play a crucial role in preserving the natural beauty of our landscapes while creating an ideal environment for aquatic life.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and enhance the biodiversity within the pond environment.
• Implement eco-friendly methods for pest control in aquatic settings.
• Create and maintain detailed records of the biological and chemical health of ponds.
• Educate clients on sustainable practices and the importance of pond ecosystems.
• Prepare reports on pond conditions and propose necessary improvements.
• Work on special projects related to landscape enhancements that involve aquatic features.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Certifications in environmental science or horticulture is a plus

Experience

• Understanding of native plant species is beneficial.

Technical Skills

• Equipment operation
• Aquatic ecosystem knowledge

• Time management

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous
