Responsibilities

• Hunt and capture diverse marine life, ensuring compliance with local regulations.
• Maintain records of captured species to assist in conservation efforts.
• Regularly check and repair fishing gear to ensure safety and efficiency.
• Adhere to safety protocols while working in unpredictable conditions.
• Assist clients in understanding fishing techniques and the local ecosystem.
• Participate in conservation initiatives to promote sustainable practices.
• Monitor weather conditions and adapt fishing strategies accordingly.
• Work closely with instructors to develop personal skills and understanding.

Requirements

Education

• Certification in underwater hunting or fishing
• Valid Australian driver's license

Experience

• At least 1 year of experience in underwater hunting or fishing

Technical Skills

• Excellent swimming skills
• Knowledge of marine life
• Equipment handling

Soft Skills

• Problem-solving
• Team collaboration

Certifications

• First Aid and CPR certification
• Boat license or certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in scuba diving or free diving: Hands-on experience with scuba and free diving techniques for underwater hunting.
• Knowledge of conservation practices: Familiarity with marine conservation efforts and sustainable fishing regulations.
