Job Description

We are actively seeking skilled Boilermakers to join our dynamic team in Melbourne. The ideal candidates will be responsible for constructing and assembling complex metal structures, such as boilers and pressure vessels. We value craftsmanship and attention to detail, ensuring all work meets the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and examine blueprints and technical drawings.
• Perform repairs and maintenance on existing boilers and pressure vessels.
• Utilise welding and cutting equipment to fabricate metal products.
• Ensure compliance with OH&S regulations and safety standards.
• Conduct tests on fabricated products to identify defects.
• Assist in training apprentices and junior boilermakers.

Requirements

Education

• Relevant trade qualifications in Boilermaking
• Experience in CAD is advantageous

Experience

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in heavy fabrication.

• Fabrication Techniques
• Rigging and Lifting

Soft Skills

• Problem-Solving
• Communication Skills

Certifications

• Current welding certifications (AS/NZS 1554.1)
• First Aid Certificate

Languages

• English: Fluent
