Health Education Specialist

Job Description

We are looking for a Health Education Specialist to design, implement, and evaluate community health education programs. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in public health education and be capable of fostering collaborations with local organisations.

Responsibilities

• Create comprehensive educational materials for diverse audiences.
• Collaborate with local health departments to align educational efforts.
• Conduct needs assessments to identify community health issues.
• Organise community events to promote health education.
• Train staff and volunteers on health education strategies.
• Incorporate current research into program development.
• Facilitate discussions on health topics to encourage community engagement.
• Support the health department in advancing public health campaigns.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Public Health or a related field
• Master's degree in Health Education is a plus

Experience

• At least 3 years of relevant experience in community health education

Languages

• English: Fluent
