Job Description

The Specialty Materials Printing Machine Setter is an essential role within our manufacturing team. As a Printing Press Operator, you'll be responsible for setting up and operating specialized printing machines, ensuring that they are calibrated and maintained for optimum performance. You'll perform quality checks on printed materials to meet client specifications and adjust machine settings as needed to achieve the best possible output. We're looking for someone with a keen eye for detail and a passion for producing high-quality work.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and set up printing machines for various jobs based on specifications.
• Execute the printing process and ensure an uninterrupted workflow.
• Perform inspections on finished products to maintain quality standards.
• Make necessary adjustments to machine speed and settings to meet production targets.
• Assist in troubleshooting mechanical problems and performing repairs as needed.
• Document production output and report anomalies to management.
• Provide support to junior operators and train them on machine operations.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss performance and areas for improvement.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace.

Requirements

Education

• Relevant vocational training in printing operations
• No formal qualifications required, but experience is essential.

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in operating and setting up printing machines.
