Mental Health Clinician

Job Description

Our team is seeking a passionate Mental Health Clinician to provide comprehensive mental health care to clients in Coffs Harbour. This role requires a professional with a strong understanding of mental health issues, who can develop and implement effective treatment plans tailored to individual needs.

Responsibilities

• Perform intake assessments for new clients and develop care plans.
• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions to individuals and groups.
• Document client progress and adapt treatment plans as necessary.
• Educate clients about their mental health conditions and treatment options.
• Engage with family members to provide support and education.
• Participate in case conferences and contribute to team discussions.

Requirements

Education

• Degree in Social Work or Psychology
• Master's degree in Clinical Psychology is preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of clinical experience

Technical Skills

• Family Therapy
• Group Therapy Facilitation

Certifications

• Mental Health First Aid Certificate
• Crisis Intervention Training

Languages

• English: Fluent
