Job Description

We are looking for a passionate Bioinformatics Scientist to join our team. You will be responsible for analysing and interpreting complex biological data sets, contributing to the understanding of genomic and proteomic analysis, and developing innovative algorithms tailored for diverse scientific research.

Responsibilities

  • Utilise bioinformatics tools to analyse genomic data.
  • Support design and execution of experimental protocols based on data analysis.
  • Draft and review technical documentation for procedures and findings.
  • Participate in regular team meetings to share progress on research initiatives.
  • Mentor and guide new team members on data analysis techniques.
  • Implement best practices for software development in scientific settings.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, or related discipline
  • Ph.D. in Bioinformatics or related field is advantageous
Experience
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience with a strong focus on bioinformatics
