Job Description

As a Tool Grinder, Filer, and Sharpener, you will be responsible for operating sophisticated machinery to grind and polish crankshafts, ensuring they meet precise specifications. You will play a crucial role in our production process, collaborating with a dynamic team to uphold high standards of quality.

Responsibilities

• Setup, operate, and optimize grinding machines for crankshaft production.
• Conduct precision measurements and maintain specifications on all dimensions.
• Proactively identify and troubleshoot issues with machinery during operation.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives within the production team.
• Contribute to maintaining an organized and effective work area.
• Help develop and implement new production procedures as required.
• Interact with quality assurance teams to uphold product integrity.
• Participate in safety audits and compliance checks.
• Assist in the development of training materials for new hires.

Requirements

Education

• Certificate IV in Engineering (Mechanical) is an advantage
• Trade qualification as a fitter and turner is preferred

Experience

• Experience in a similar manufacturing or engineering environment is a must
