Environmental Compliance Inspector

Job Description

As an Environmental Compliance Inspector at Green Solutions, you will be responsible for enforcing the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA) regulations. Your role involves conducting inspections, identifying violations, and collaborating with businesses to ensure compliance, all while promoting sustainable practices.

Responsibilities

• Perform on-site assessments of waste management practices.
• Monitor compliance with hazardous material handling and disposal regulations.
• Assist in the development of compliance strategies for businesses.
• Lead workshops and training sessions for clients on environmental compliance.
• Work closely with environmental specialists to ensure effective implementation of environmental policies.
• Conduct follow-up inspections to ensure remediation of identified issues.
• Engage with community stakeholders to promote environmental awareness and sustainability.
• Support the Environmental Compliance Manager in strategic planning and risk assessments.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or related field
• Master's in Environmental Management is a plus

Experience

• At least 3 years of experience in a related field, preferably with enforcement roles.

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous
