Video Lighting Technician

Job Description

We are in search of a Video Lighting Technician who will be pivotal in transforming the visual aspects of our video productions. Your expertise in lighting setup and operation will enhance the overall quality of our content.

Responsibilities

• Install, operate, and maintain advanced lighting systems.
• Work with production teams to plan and implement effective lighting strategies.
• Adjust lighting to reflect the artistic vision of each project.
• Conduct quality checks on lighting setups before filming starts.
• Document and manage lighting equipment usage and maintenance logs.
• Provide training to junior technicians on lighting best practices.
• Stay informed on industry trends in lighting technology.
• Participate in design meetings to align on lighting needs for various productions.
• Assist with electrical work in compliance with safety standards.
• Tackle challenges and resolve issues promptly during live productions.

Requirements

Education

• Certificate III in Live Production and Services or equivalent
• Electrical license or certification is advantageous

Experience

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Video Lighting Technician or in a similar role
