Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Clinical Psychologist to join our team in Toowoomba. The successful candidate will work with clients facing a variety of mental health issues, providing assessments, therapies, and support to aid their recovery. Responsibilities

  • Administer psychological tests to assess mental health conditions.
  • Create and facilitate therapeutic programs for clients.
  • Work with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic client care.
  • Provide mentorship and support to junior staff members.
  • Develop outreach programs to raise awareness of mental health issues in the community.
  • Conduct workshops and seminars on mental health topics.
  • Engage in continuous professional education to stay current with best practices.
  • Advocate for clients' needs within the healthcare system.
  • Support research activities related to mental health services.

Requirements

Education
  • Doctorate in Psychology (PhD or PsyD)
  • Registration with the Psychology Board of Australia
Experience
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in clinical psychology
Technical Skills
  • Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)
  • Psychometric Testing
Soft Skills
  • Empathy
  • Communication Skills
Certifications
  • Registered Psychologist with the Psychology Board of Australia
Languages
  • English: Fluent
