Riding Instructor

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Riding Instructor to enhance our team. In this role, you will teach and guide individuals in developing their riding skills, ensuring everyone enjoys a safe and fulfilling experience. You'll need to assess riders' abilities and provide constructive feedback, all while maintaining the care and safety of our horses. Your patience and communication skills are key to helping our riders progress.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and safe horse riding lessons to individuals and groups.
• Evaluate riders' skills and tailor lessons to meet their individual needs.
• Teach essential horsemanship skills, including grooming and tacking.
• Encourage and inspire riders to develop their equestrian skills.
• Ensure the welfare of horses in your care.
• Oversee the maintenance of the riding facility and equipment.
• Support the organization of riding events and competitions.
• Keep detailed records of lessons and student progress.
• Foster a positive and enjoyable learning environment.
• Promote safe riding practices among all riders.

Requirements

Education

• Relevant qualifications in Equine Studies or similar field are advantageous

Experience

• Experience in competitive riding is advantageous.
