Job Description

Join our dedicated team as an Occupational Therapy Aide, where you'll support rehabilitation professionals in delivering high-quality care to patients requiring physical and occupational therapy. Your role will encompass assisting with patient care, documenting progress, and ensuring a clean and safe environment.

Responsibilities

  • Implement therapeutic activities under supervision.
  • Support the documentation of patient care and outcomes.
  • Assist in training new staff and volunteers as required.
  • Maintain confidentiality and professional boundaries with patients.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Contribute to team goals by participating in ongoing training.
  • Assist with patient assessments, including basic health measurements.
  • Help develop and distribute patient information materials.

Requirements

Education
  • Certificate III or IV in Allied Health Assistance or equivalent.
  • Prior experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
Experience
  • Minimum of 6 months of experience as a rehabilitation aide or in a similar role.
