We are on the lookout for an experienced Stonemason to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for laying flagstones, crafting patios, and constructing other outdoor surfaces with precision and attention to detail. You will work closely with our team to ensure each project meets our high standards of quality and design. Responsibilities

• Prepare substrates by grading and compacting soil.
• Lay stones in a precise manner, adhering to safety standards.
• Create unique outdoor designs with available materials.
• Work alongside the landscape crew to ensure design fidelity.
• Implement effective problem-solving to address installation challenges.
• Regularly maintain tools and work equipment.
• Document completed work with photographs for project records.
• Participate in training sessions to improve skills.
• Ensure compliance with building regulations and standards.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Vocational training in masonry preferred

Experience

• At least 3 years of hands-on experience in masonry and stonework

Technical Skills

• Stone Cutting
• Masonry Techniques

Soft Skills

• Problem-Solving Skills
• Communication Skills

Certifications

• First Aid Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Knowledge of local building codes: Understanding of regulations affecting stone installation.
• Experience using heavy machinery: Experience operating machinery such as forklifts or excavators.
