Tile and Marble Setter

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Tile and Marble Setter to join our skilled team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing and repairing tile and marble surfaces across various projects, ensuring high-quality workmanship and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Work with a range of materials including ceramic, porcelain, and natural stone.
• Create custom designs and layouts based on client specifications.
• Assist in ordering materials and maintaining inventory.
• Conduct site assessments to determine job requirements.
• Handle customer inquiries and provide excellent service.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Trade qualification in Stone Masonry or similar is a plus

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in tiling and stone setting.

Technical Skills

• Experience with specialty tiles or marbles
• Understanding of Occupational Health and Safety regulations

Soft Skills

• Interpersonal skills

Certifications

• Forklift license (if applicable)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Prior supervisory experience: Experience managing projects or leading a team.
• Familiarity with CAD software: Ability to read and interpret design plans digitally.
