Responsibilities

  • Perform detailed inspections of oral health and detect abnormalities.
  • Recommend and explain treatment options to patients.
  • Educate patients on preventive dental care.
  • Maintain infection control protocols.
  • Assist in dental cleanings and scaling procedures.
  • Coordinate with the dental team for enhanced patient services.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development.

Requirements

Education
  • Certificate III or IV in Dental Assisting
Experience
  • 2+ years of experience in a dental assisting role

Certifications
  • Current Australian Dental Council (ADC) Registration
