• Perform detailed inspections of oral health and detect abnormalities.
• Recommend and explain treatment options to patients.
• Educate patients on preventive dental care.
• Maintain infection control protocols.
• Assist in dental cleanings and scaling procedures.
• Coordinate with the dental team for enhanced patient services.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development.

Requirements

Education

• Certificate III or IV in Dental Assisting

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in a dental assisting role

Technical Skills

• Dental Imaging Software
• Patient Record Management

Soft Skills

• Attention to Detail
• Communication Skills

Certifications

• Current Australian Dental Council (ADC) Registration
• CPR and First Aid Certifications

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Bachelor's Degree in Dental Hygiene: Preferred qualification enhancing clinical knowledge.
• Experience with Digital Radiography: Familiarity with using digital x-ray equipment.
