Radiologist

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Radiologist to interpret medical images such as X-rays, CT scans, and MRIs to diagnose and treat various diseases. A successful candidate will have strong analytical skills and a commitment to patient care.

Responsibilities

• Conduct and supervise diagnostic imaging procedures while ensuring the highest standards of care.
• Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to optimise patient outcomes.
• Provide mentorship and training to junior staff and radiologic technologists.
• Engage in continuous education and stay updated with the latest radiological practices.
• Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to clinical discussions.
• Implement safety protocols and ensure compliance with health regulations.
• Develop and maintain relationships with referring physicians and healthcare providers.
• Assist in research projects and clinical trials related to radiology.
• Review and critique imaging protocols and improve operational efficiencies.

Requirements

Education

• Medical Qualifications from recognised institutions
• Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists (FRANZCR) or equivalent

Experience

• Minimum of 5 years' experience in diagnostic radiology, with excellent track record.

Technical Skills

• Ultrasound Techniques
