Job Description

We are currently seeking a Wiper to join our maritime team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and operational efficiency of the ship's machinery and equipment, ensuring safety is upheld at all times.

Responsibilities

• Perform general cleaning and maintenance tasks to uphold ship safety.
• Monitor machinery functionality and report any irregularities.
• Participate in scheduled maintenance and safety drills.
• Collaborate with other crew members to ensure smooth operations.
• Keep equipment records up to date.
• Assist in training new hires on ship protocols.
• Help in stocking supplies and maintaining inventory.
• Support engineers during major repairs.

Requirements

Education

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
• Relevant vocational or technical training is preferred

Experience

• No previous experience required. On-job training will be provided.

• Ability to speak multiple languages: Having proficiency in additional languages can be beneficial in a diverse work environment.
