Job Description

The Remnants Cutter role entails cutting and trimming excess materials from finished carpets and rugs to ensure impeccable quality standards. Ideal candidates will possess technical skills for operating various cutting machinery and a keen eye for detail.

Responsibilities

• Operate computer numerical control (CNC) machines for precise cutting.
• Perform regular maintenance checks on all machinery.
• Report machinery malfunctions to the Production Manager promptly.
• Assist with the setup of cutting machinery prior to beginning production runs.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.

Requirements

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Technical training in textiles is preferred

Experience

• 2-3 years of experience in a similar role within the manufacturing sector

Technical Skills

• CNC Programming
• Material Knowledge

Certifications

• Cutting Equipment Safety Certification

Languages
