Job Description

As a River Rafting Guide, you will lead groups on thrilling white-water rafting adventures. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the safety and enjoyment of clients while navigating challenging rapids. This role requires a strong swimming ability, excellent communication skills, and knowledge of local rivers.

Responsibilities

• Conduct pre-trip safety checks and equipment inspections.
• Engage clients with stories and insights about the river and surroundings.
• Monitor weather conditions and make informed decisions regarding trip safety.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations.
• Assist clients in navigating challenging rapids and returning safely.
• Train junior guides and share rafting techniques.
• Promote environmental conservation and respect for nature.
• Create a fun and engaging atmosphere throughout the trip.

Requirements

Education

• Valid driver's license

Experience

• Experience in multi-day rafting trips preferred
