Food Batchmaker

Job Description

As a Food Batchmaker, you will be at the heart of our production team, playing a vital role in crafting our renowned taffy and other confections. This position requires a mix of manual dexterity, attention to detail, and a passion for producing delicious sweets. You will work closely with our Head Confectioner to ensure the highest standards of quality and hygiene are maintained.

Responsibilities

• Support the team in daily candy production activities.
• Operate equipment for cooking and cooling confections.
• Assist in the training of new batchmakers to uphold production standards.
• Monitor and document production processes and ingredient quality.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain workflow.
• Implement feedback and contribute to process improvements.
• Participate in quality control efforts with the Head Confectioner.

Requirements

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Vocational training in food processing is preferred

Experience

• 1-2 years of experience in confectionery production

Technical Skills

• Candy Production Skills
• Operating Kitchen Equipment

• Problem-solving Abilities

Languages

• English: Fluent
