Job Description

As a Jacquard Loom Weaver with us, your main duty will be to operate and maintain Jacquard looms, weaving intricate designs with precision. This role calls for attention to detail and a passion for textile craftsmanship, allowing you to contribute to our reputation for excellence in the textile industry.

Responsibilities

• Operate and ensure the proper functioning of Jacquard looms.
• Develop weaving patterns using appropriate software tools.
• Select yarn types suitable for various fabric designs.
• Conduct routine maintenance and minor repairs on equipment.
• Conduct quality checks on finished fabrics to ensure they meet standards.
• Teach and mentor less experienced operators on loom functions.
• Work closely with the design team for project execution.
• Manage weaving schedules to meet production goals.
• Compile reports on production statistics and efficiency.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss project progress.

Requirements

Education

• Certificate III in Textile Production or equivalent

Experience

• Minimum 2 years of experience working as a Jacquard Loom Weaver or in a relevant weaving role.
