Job Description

The Ground Water Technician will be responsible for monitoring, testing, and analyzing ground water quality and quantity in accordance with local and national regulations. They will work closely with project managers, environmental scientists, engineers, and other professionals to ensure that groundwater resources are protected and managed effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Develop groundwater management plans and strategies.
  • Coordinate with local authorities on groundwater conservation efforts.
  • Engage stakeholders in community outreach regarding groundwater issues.
  • Facilitate training sessions for junior technicians.
  • Monitor long-term environmental impacts of remediation efforts.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Geology, Hydrology, or related field
  • Master's degree in a related technical field preferred
Experience
  • 2-4 years of relevant experience in groundwater monitoring and management
