Job Description

Join our team as a Blacktop Paver Operator! You'll be responsible for operating paving machinery to lay asphalt surfaces, ensuring precision and adherence to project specifications. Candidates should have experience with blacktop paving equipment and a solid understanding of asphalt application techniques.

Responsibilities

• Control the paving process using blacktop paver machinery efficiently.
• Conduct pre-operation inspections on equipment to ensure safety.
• Respond to any machinery alerts and correct issues promptly.
• Assist in planning daily tasks with the project team.
• Prepare work sites by clearing debris and ensuring proper setup.
• Document daily progress and report any irregularities to supervisors.
• Engage in team meetings to contribute to project discussions and improvements.

• Experience using rollers and compactors: Ability to operate additional construction machinery alongside paving equipment.
• Asphalt Quality Control Experience: Background in ensuring asphalt quality compliance during the application.
