Job Description

As a Signaler, you'll operate signal boxes and communicate with train drivers to guarantee the timely and safe movement of trains across the network, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate signal operations according to schedules.
  • Document and report on signal system operations.
  • Analyse performance data to improve operational efficiency.
  • Train junior staff on signaling protocols and safety measures.

Requirements

Education
  • Certificate III in Electrotechnology or equivalent
Experience
  • Experience in team-oriented, highly regulated environments
Technical Skills
  • Knowledge of signaling equipment
  • Experience with Computer-Based Interlocking systems
Soft Skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure
Certifications
  • Higher level qualification in rail signaling or related discipline
Languages
  • English: Fluent
