Job Description

We are looking for a qualified Mental Health Counselor to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will provide clinical services and support to patients, employing strong interpersonal skills and empathy to deliver effective care in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patient mental health and develop individualized care plans.
• Facilitate support groups and patient education sessions.
• Establish therapeutic relationships based on trust and respect.
• Work closely with families and caregivers to enhance treatment effectiveness.
• Utilize evidence-based practices to deliver optimal care.
• Monitor treatment outcomes and engage in quality improvement initiatives.
• Participate in external training and workshops to stay updated on best practices.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work or equivalent
• Master's degree in Clinical Psychology preferred

Experience

• At least 3 years of experience in mental health settings

• AHPRA Registration
• Advanced Psychological First Aid Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
