Job Description

As a Title One Kindergarten Teacher, you will play a vital role in the development of young learners by implementing educational programs that foster intellectual, social, and emotional growth. Your creativity and passion will help create engaging learning experiences tailored to the unique needs of each student, making a significant impact on their educational journey. You will collaborate closely with parents and other educators to support the holistic development of every child.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that meet the diverse needs of students.
  • Foster a nurturing environment conducive to learning and growth.
  • Conduct regular assessments to track student progress and adapt teaching methods accordingly.
  • Collaborate with special education staff to support students with additional needs.
  • Engage parents in their child's educational experience through meetings and updates.
  • Encourage positive behaviour and social interactions among students.
  • Integrate technology into the classroom to support learning objectives.
  • Organize and participate in extracurricular activities that promote student engagement.
  • Maintain a safe and clean learning environment.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field
  • Valid teaching certification/license in Australia.
Experience
  • Prior experience working as a Kindergarten Teacher or in a similar role is preferred, but not mandatory. New graduates with relevant qualifications are encouraged to apply.
