Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Toggle Press Operator to operate, maintain, and troubleshoot our machinery to ensure effective and efficient manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical skills and a keen eye for detail.

Responsibilities

• Calibrate machines to ensure accurate operation and quality output.
• Assist in training new operators on machine functions and safety protocols.
• Implement improvements to enhance the efficiency of the manufacturing process.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues swiftly to minimize production delays.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss production outcomes and areas for improvement.

Requirements

Education

• Trade qualifications or relevant qualifications in Engineering or Manufacturing

Experience

• Experience in the automotive or aerospace industry is preferred

Technical Skills

• Experience with machining processes
• Use of hand tools

Soft Skills

• Adaptability
• Time management

Certifications

• Forklift License
• Machine Operation Safety Certificate

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Previous experience in a supervisory role: Experience leading a small team of operators in a manufacturing environment.
• Lean manufacturing knowledge: Understanding of lean principles and practices in manufacturing.
