Job Description

As a Library Aide, you will be integral to the daily operations of our library, assisting patrons with inquiries, and ensuring the efficient circulation of materials. You'll play a key role in delivering excellent customer service and maintaining a welcoming environment.

Responsibilities

  • Welcome patrons and assist with library membership registrations.
  • Manage the circulation of books and materials efficiently.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization within the library spaces.
  • Assist with the preparation and execution of library workshops.
  • Support digital literacy initiatives by assisting users with computers.
  • Execute special projects as assigned by the Library Manager.

Requirements

Education
  • Completion of Year 12 or equivalent
Experience
  • No prior experience required, but experience in a library or customer service preferred.
