Job Description

As an Aircraft Plumbing Mechanic, you'll be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of aircraft plumbing systems, including water and waste systems, lavatories, and galleys. Ideal candidates will have hands-on experience in aircraft plumbing and a strong understanding of safety regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect and repair plumbing systems in aircraft, ensuring all components function correctly.
  • Diagnose plumbing issues effectively and propose appropriate solutions.
  • Conduct routine maintenance checks and ensure compliance with all safety standards.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver timely and efficient services.
  • Maintain an organised record of inspections and repairs.
  • Assist in training junior mechanics and new team members.
  • Stay updated with the latest aviation plumbing standards and technologies.

Requirements

Education
  • Completion of an accredited plumbing apprenticeship or equivalent.
  • Additional certifications in related areas are a plus.
Experience
  • Experience working with plumbing systems in an aviation or aerospace environment is preferred.
