Job Description

As a Grants Specialist, you will manage the grant application process and ensure compliance with funding requirements. You will provide support to applicants, monitor funding progress, and prepare reports to showcase our impact in the community.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the grant application process from pre-application to final reporting.
  • Evaluate grant proposals and make informed funding recommendations.
  • Engage with community organisations to encourage participation in grant programs.
  • Identify areas of improvement in the grant process and implement changes.
  • Support grant audits and ensure that documentation is accurate and accessible.
  • Assist in strategic planning and upcoming funding initiatives.
  • Maintain records of grant expenditures and funding reports for compliance.
  • Stay updated on grant opportunities and trends in the non-profit sector.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field
Experience
  • At least 3 years of experience in grant management or fundraising
