Job Description

As a Motorboat Operator, you will play a vital role in ensuring safe and efficient transport for our events. Your main responsibility will be operating motorboats while coordinating with event staff to guarantee the safety and comfort of passengers. The ideal candidate will possess excellent navigational skills, strong communication abilities, and a commitment to customer service.

Responsibilities

• Ensure proper operation of motorboat equipment.
• Stay informed about weather conditions to ensure safe navigation.
• Collaborate with ground staff to manage passenger flow.
• Provide educational commentary during trips, when applicable.
• Assist in maintaining cleanliness and order on the motorboat.
• Instruct passengers on safety procedures before departure.
• Serve as a point of contact for passenger feedback.
• Work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Participate in safety drills and training sessions.
• Foster a positive and welcoming atmosphere for passengers.

Requirements

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Marine-related qualifications are beneficial

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in a marine operator role
