Responsibilities

• Oversee aircraft taxiing to ensure safety protocols are followed.
• Engage with pilots using established communication systems.
• Document and report any incidents or irregularities.
• Guide new hires through on-the-job training.
• Refine operational procedures to improve efficiency.
• Promote workplace safety initiatives across staff.
• Prepare reports on daily operations for management.
• Engage in community outreach and support local aviation initiatives.
• Comply with all health and safety regulations on site.

Requirements

Education

• Certificate IV in Aviation or relevant field
• First Aid certification

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in airport operations or related field.

Technical Skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Familiarity with airport management software

Soft Skills

• Adaptability
• Strong interpersonal skills

Certifications

• Emergency response training certification
• Risk management certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with alternate landing procedures, such as visual approaches: Hands-on knowledge of varied landing methodologies.
• Experience with aircraft ground handling procedures: Expertise in managing ground operations associated with aircraft.
