Job Description

The University of Sydney seeks a passionate and knowledgeable Architecture Teacher for our postsecondary programs. This role involves teaching both undergraduate and postgraduate architecture courses, supervising student research projects, and contributing to academic committees.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging lectures and design studios for architecture students.
  • Facilitate workshops and seminars that enhance student learning.
  • Foster collaborative learning environments among students.
  • Conduct research in relevant architectural fields and secure funding where possible.
  • Contribute to the development of innovative teaching practices.
  • Assist in the accreditation of architecture programs.

Requirements

Education
  • Master's degree in Architecture or related field
  • PhD preferred, not mandatory
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in a teaching and research role
