Job Description

As a Personal Care Aide, you will provide vital support to individuals with special needs, assisting them with daily activities, personal hygiene, and emotional support. Your compassion and dedication will play a crucial role in improving their quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with personal grooming and hygiene.
• Support clients in managing their daily routines effectively.
• Communicate regularly with family members regarding client updates.
• Assist with medication management and administration.
• Maintain accurate documentation of care provided.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Assist in community engagement activities as required.
• Assist with transportation for clients to appointments.
• Participate in staff meetings and contribute to care plan discussions.

Requirements

Education

• Certificate IV in Disability or Aged Care is preferred

Experience

• Experience working with NDIS participants is highly regarded.

Languages
