Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Pediatrician to join our healthcare team in Melbourne. You will be responsible for diagnosing and treating a range of childhood illnesses, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to deliver optimal patient care. Your expertise will contribute significantly to the health and wellbeing of our younger patients.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and specialized medical assessments for children.
• Diagnose health issues through patient interviews and medical tests.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
• Remain current with pediatric research and treatment protocols.
• Provide guidance and support to families regarding child development.
• Manage patient follow-ups and ongoing care plans.
• Contribute to health education and outreach programs.
• Encourage preventative health measures among patients.
• Maintain a supportive environment for both patients and their families.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor of Medicine / Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or equivalent degree
• Specialist training in Pediatrics is required

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years clinical experience as a Pediatrician
